Thomas Divier - 22 year oldI was born in Alençon, in Basse-Normandie on July, 24th 1984. After A-levels, I left Alençon for Tours, where I spent two years, preparing the exams for the French engineering schools called "Grandes Ecoles". I finally went to the French Engineering School of Papermaking and Printing (EFPG) in Grenoble.I have been travelling with my parents many times, with trips in Autria, UK, Scotland, Netherlands, Germany and more recently Spain, the US and Poland.. As soon as I was over 18, I have been two summers in a row in the UK, in Brighton and Portsmouth. It gave me the opportunity to improve my English and to find out the "backpacker spirit" ! |
Since I am in Grenoble, I have been really involved in the association BEST (Board of European Students of Technology). Thanks to BEST, I have been travelling all over Europe at low cost : Slovenia, Italia, UK, Turkey, Poland, Germany, Lituania. BEST helped me also to meet many crazy travelers and I became gradually aware that it was possible to fulfill my dream !
Besides travelling, I am fond of aviation, sport (ski, hiking), culture.
